A few things:

- I can run through and tweak a bunch of verb tenses and spelling, if
you don't mind (and you get the src in). ;-)

- I updated my doc directory with all the rfc mentioned in the new doc,
and a couple more that are relevant, including the drafts that CMU's
  sieve implements:

rfc821.txt
rfc822.txt
rfc1738.txt
rfc2045.txt
rfc2046.txt
rfc2047.txt
rfc2049.txt
rfc2088.txt
rfc2111.txt
rfc2192.txt
rfc2193.txt
rfc2221.txt
rfc2298.txt
rfc2342.txt
rfc2368.txt
rfc2384.txt
rfc2821.txt
rfc2822.txt
rfc3028.txt
draft-managesieve-02.txt
draft-melnikov-sieve-imapflags-04.txt
draft-sieve-notify-00.txt
draft-sieve-regex-03.txt
draft-sieve-subaddress-02.txt
draft-sieve-vacation-04.txt

Shall I commit them?

- I would rename "C API" to Low-Level API, or maybe Concrete API
(with Framework renamed to Abstract API). I guess that "C" is just
a place holder till you think of something... Also, I'd move it to
after the preferred API, the Framework one!

- You say in doc/Makefile.am that the examples aren't shipped, why not?

Cheers,
Sam
