Bad habit from a friend, he was a Radio Operator in the army.  He used to
say: Acknowledge or "Ack" when he agreed on something or when asking
for a confirmation.

Amusing, his habit annoyed me ... and now I'm using it ;).
I can still remember his wife : "One more "Ack" and you're going to get it" :-)
