Gary, ltdl is not OK with max dmalloc checking because of:

try_dlopen (phandle, filename)
lt_dlhandle *phandle;

if (base_name)

}
else
LT_DLMEM_REASSIGN (base_name, canonical);
and LT_DLMEM_REASSIGN frees $1 without checking its != 0. I hacked
my copy to proceed, but I don't know if you want LT_DLMEM_REASSIGN be called
in such cases, so I don't propose anything.
