http://code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/detail?id=2376I have no clue how stencils are represented internally. And while one may have mixed feelings about point-stencil, something like the null-stencil is a basic building block like '() or "" or other null constants. If you can't start from that without repercussions, that's quite counterintuitive.
