Hi all,
These last two months have been the first of which I've
done an intense usage of Lily, and it made easier to no-
tice the few (real) flaws it had. I've recently encoun-
tered the most idiotic problem with beaming. I recalled
this having been discussed, but I wasn't able to recover
the message from the search page.
I've the following rhytm : a8. f16 c g and the notes are
beamed as follow :
______________
| -| |--|
| | | |
O/ . O/ O/ O/
instead of what should normally be :
______________
| |--|--|
| | | |
O/ . O/ O/ O/
Last time this problem was discussed, the solution of nes-
ted [] was proposed, but it doesn't seem to be working...
Not on 1.4 in any case.
What should I do?
Also, after reading Tom Krigges message, I realized, that
more and more people are into typesetting polyphonic
music, so the rest collision and placement is becoming a
pain for more than just a couple of persons... Is there a
simple hack any of you'd propose to solve this?
