Yes, it certainly works. Note, though, that it doesn't give any
effect at the last page of a score since it would look silly
to spread the last score lines evenly over the page if there are
only two or three of them on the last page. Thus, if you have a
score that fits on a single page the variable will not make any
difference.
Don't forget that the variable is a paper variable, so it should
be used like:
...
\paper{
...
interscorelinefill = 1
}
