To put it another way: if somebody sends a patch which frees the memory
correctly without introducing any bugs and without introducing insane
amounts of hair for a ridiculously small constant amount of memory, then
I might consider accepting it.
There are quite a few bugs in libtool/libltdl which are much more worth
working on.
