In several test series with a CCDia®MicroSpeed diamond coating significant increases of tool life with routers of diameter around 1.00 mm were reached. E.g.:
FR 4 Multilayer – 1,55 mm Dicke 3 er Stapel, Fräser GCT (www.gctool.com) Lifetime uncoated 10 m Lifetime CCDia®MicroSpeed coated 100 m.
Rogers 4340 DK 2,00 mm Dicke 2 er Stapel, Fräser GCT (www.gctool.com) Lifetime uncoated 0,3 m Lifetime CCDia®MicroSpeed coated 22 m.

GCT expands Private Label business Weingarten: The world leading provider of diamond coated PCB tools plans to increase his Private Label business. In close cooperation with CemeCon GCT will enable international providers of PCB routers and drills to market GCT tools under their own brand. ”Already today it becomes obvious that we will not be able to grant licences to all parties interested”, states Dr. Armin Kraus from CemeCon. “The distribution of high quality Private Label products is a real alternative solution for many providers.” As first letters of intent were signed already CemeCon will close the first round of negotiations at the End of January in order to start final negotiations with the remaining parties. |

CCDia®Microspeed Through CCDia®Microspeed, CemeCon has developed a diamond coating which utilises the elementary properties of this material. Diamond is the hardest material of the world, is extremely smooth and exhibits an extremely low tendency of sticking with respect to hydrocarbons. These advantages have an immediate effect on the production process: The significantly extended tool life by a factor of at least six results in cost savings of approximately 40%. |
