Hello,

 

I am trying to install MySQL 5.0 alpha using FreeBSD 4.7 ports. I have searched for several days to find an answer to this error:

I am using this recommended command from MySQL:

 

make -f Makefile CC=gcc CFLAGS="-02 -fno-strength-reduce" CXX=gcc CXXFLAGS="-02 -fno-rtti -fno-exceptions -felide-constructors -fno-strength-reduce"

 

What would I have to do in order to get this to work?
