That may be true, but there have not been many bug reports anyway. As a
maintainer and developer I find it hard to keep track of bugs on
savannah. And many bugs on savannah are rather stale. My hope is that a
debbugs will make the development more organised, which may have a side
effect of encouraging more reports.

I'd vote for closing all the other trackers for simplicity and to reduce
overhead.
