Hi Joey,
As Lex is doing greedy parsing, if you want to separate parsing just
6-digit hexadecimal numbers from the rest, I think it is doable to
change libmatheval lexer to do what you want (on the other side, I'd
agree with Marin that it's not good idea to allow for variables starting
with numbers - albeit this may be doable with some changes in the parser
too). So if you would be interested in this, can you get in touch with
me in private in about 10 days or so (I'm off at the moment)?
