We will reasonably have better prospects to find testers during
an alpha stage, than during any other time during development.

I feel fairly confident that I have identified the weak points.
All the more so, since I found the issue with "char tokval[100]"
while stress testing. This lead me to extract code:

   $ git grep '\(char\|int\) .*\[[0-9]\{1,6\}\]' -- ftp/

That information had me check all fixed allocations in "ftp".

Our present "ftp" is in clear advantage in comparison to most
other clients, so my suggestion is to proceed with your release
plan as was made. We should be content that Glenn Golden got me
to investigate "ftp" in time for this release.
