Hello,
I am pondering on the mechanisms in use for testing inetutils
on different operating systems. The capacities I have myself
is Debian GNU/Linux, Debian GNU/kfreebsd, OpenBSD, and FreeBSD,
in a mixture of i386 and amd64.
I did make an effort to arrange OpenSolaris alongside OpenBSD,
but the Solaris patched GRUB only functioned as graphical/Solaris,
or as text/OpenBSD, not vice versa, so I can not add OpenSolaris
to my testing.
To what extent are patches mechanically, or manually, tested
on different systems before entering the repository?
Best regards,
Mats Erik Andersson, fil. dr
