Yes, I was working on this 3 months back, but due to change in day job
and other constraints could not fix every issue. And continue after
completing most of code factoring and removing repeated ping6/ping
computations.

There are many TODO in ping/ping6 part.

Will be starting working on it before March, most probably ending
February. Of course this year ;)
