Lovley! I'll start doing some winter cleaning, namley remove P()
macros, fix copyright notices, reindent all the code to follow GNU
practises, silence a couple GCC warnings (implicit declaratations
mostly), and other small syntatic issues. I kinda got sick enough of
the mess to do something about it. :-)
I'll try to finish this ASAP so that Guilliems patches won't linger.
