   Don't want r* clients, but they turned up being installed,
   apparently related to errors installing with setuid bit.

Actually, they didn't get installed, that error should really be a
warning.  And the makefile should be a bit smarter when it comes to
treating this.

The first bit is trivial to fix, just replace ERROR with WARNING in
the Makefile.am for all programs that should be installed suid root.
The later I'm not sure how to fix without taking a closer peek.
