The most recent version of GNU inetutils is 1.4.2, you can also use the CVS version which you can get from Savannah (http://sv.gnu.org/projects/inetutils).
OK thanks that one is previous to the fix.
Is there a more recent release or if not can you give me some tips on building the cvs for linux, I have failed so far :-). You need a full operating system like GNU/Linux to build inetutils, see the README-alpha file for details on how to build inetutils from CVS.
Thanks I tried that but my autoconf must be iffy, I get aclocal: macro `gl_FUNC_FREE' required but not defined autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1Do you know if the ping in cvs will work with -i < 1 or did the fix just make it throw an invalid interval error as older versions did.
I have seen people get -i < work as expected - but maybe they used a different ping?
Andy.
