Hi,
I found your address from the ChangeLog of the gnu telnet.
Please help or let me know who can help with my problem:
I've noticed that when I compile the telnet client on solaris and I
connect to a telnet server that only supports LINEMODE, the maximum number
of characters I can type before a carriage return is 256. After than I
hear the terminal bell. The same telnet client souce compiled under
FreeBSD allows 1024 characters before a carriage return.
Do you know how I can increase this buffer size from 256 to 1024 for my
Solaris client? Can I define this somewhere in the telnet source code?

I'm using inetutils-1.4.1

Thanks for any pointers!

Alex
