  Then I'm not really sure why you were asking this question in this forum.
We can not vouch for linux-netkit not Microsofts ftp clients, The answer
below applies to GNU inetutils package.  If you want to know about
Microsoft utils and linux-netkit ftp, you should contact the appropriate
parties for answers.

  I'm not being rude but putting a public disclaimer.
