Hello,

I was debugging my DDE NIC driver, and found a serious memory leak. At first I
thought it was caused by my modification in gnumach. Then I tried the gnumach
from the debian repository and the original pfinet, and the same memory leak
occurs.

Here is what I did. I scp a big file from the Hurd (in the virtual machine) to
the host OS. I check the memory statics with vmstat constantly. After a while, I
can see the physical memory in the hurd system is exhausted and then a defpager
error message. see the picture http://a.imagehost.org/view/0824/Picture_2.

I don't know which program leak memory. I used ps -Aux to check the memory use
of each program in the system but didn't find any programs occupying hundreds
of MB.

any suggestion about how to find the memory leak?

Zheng Da
