Error 500 while going through squid 2.2STABLE4

Hello,

i was experimenting with httptunnel and so i used
MacGyvers RPMs to install hts on my linux box at home. Using the original
scripts i made a second tunnel for troubleshooting purposes.
Both of them have their own port and their own start script and so on.
Intention was the use of ssh to go to my home computer through a FW.
Because there will be some days until i return and the connection is important
i built in an additional security crontab entry which will stop hts in the
evening and restart it in the morning. Just to be sure.

Yesterday i tried it locally (over my own squid 2.4) and it worked very fine,
but whenever i closed the connection, i couldn't open a new one until i
restarted hts. That's why i made the second tunnel to restart the first one in
that cases.
But now, today, behind the FW (squid 2.2.STABLE4) i started the first session
and i was very pleased because it worked fine. Better than i expected. So i
hoped that my wonderful 'computer prison' now has a window, restarted the hts
server and just in this moment the connection interrupted. Just as i expected.
And unfortunately, now i am not able to open a new one. Not even on the second
tunnel.
When i start htc on this WinNT machine nothing seems wrong, but when i open the
ssh client (Putty) the following errors (D4) occur:

20020402 180111 exit with status = 1

Those messages appear after about a minute timeout.
I tried another port without a tunnel and there was an immedate disconnection
so i think there must be still something listening on port 9998. But why isn't
it working?

Anyone got ideas?
