Maybe you should post this bug to the Ghostscript people?

Me too, but for ps-files this isn't what we want, because .setsafe is
never called. For pdf files it's perfectly fine to use DELAYSAFER since
.setsafe is called.

Yes. I think a lot of frustrated gv users will be happy when they finally can
view their pdf files (in gv) again.
