[guix-error]

guix noob here, installed it on top of ubuntu using apt and tried updating it,

I guess the problem is that this mirror isn't providing a proper 404 status. 
Unrelated, but it would also be nice to do the initial download over https for 
this mirror, they have HSTS enabled.
