Okay, I used it now to show the result on a other system and it shows the device size in KiB.
But it's not documented in the Grub Manual 2.04 at point 16.3.44.
Tomorrow I can do it on the pc with the problem.

But speccy, a Windows program running on Windows 10, informs me that the USB HDD is also addressed by 48Bit-LBA?

You don't commented this, so you mean I should address this to the developer of the SuperGrub2Disk?
For which devices is (usb0) thought?
Does this mean that the external driver which controls (usb5a) does not use the BIOS like Grub relies on it?
Will we see this in grub, too, in the future?
