URL: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?42361> Summary: Passing the EFI System Table physical address to the NetBSD kernel Project: GNU GRUB Submitted by: sheda Submitted on: Wed 14 May 2014 11:05:21 PM CEST Category: Booting Severity: Major Priority: 5 - Normal Item Group: Feature Request Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Sheda Originator Email: address@hidden Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: Release: 2.00 Reproducibility: None Planned Release: None _______________________________________________________ Details: The attached patch do the following: - Make the lsefisystab command display the physical address of the EFI System Table; - and pass the EFI System Table to a NetBSD kernel when the knetbsd command is used. (It seems that NetBSD/i386 is obey the multiboot spec but NetBSD/amd64 is not. Unfortunatly I'm running the amd64 port on an EFI machine.) _______________________________________________________ File Attachments: ------------------------------------------------------- Date: Wed 14 May 2014 11:05:21 PM CEST Name: knetbsd-efi-systbl.patch Size: 2kB By: sheda <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/download.php?file_id=31372> _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?42361> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.gnu.org/
