If I boot to a Grub2 cd with Refit, grub does not see the USB drive. If I boot the same Grub2 cd and the same usb drive off a laptop, it does see the usb drive.
Is there any way I can get Grub on the Mac to see the usb drive? What I actually have been doing is using a /boot partition on the internal drive, which uses root= on the usb drive. I've never even got Refit to boot directly from this internal partition, so I have Refit boot a grub cd, which uses the internal /boot partition to boot the kernel with root= on the usb.
