I'm trying to install grub on a zip disk.
I've followed many many different approaches unsuccessfully,
but let's start with one:
I'm following the directions for installing grub on a floppy.
Grub loads stage1, loads stage2, but then the machine reboots.
I've tried to install on a floppy, and it works.
I've configured by zip drives as "floppies", and I've used
/dev/hdd (secondary slave) to copy the files (using dd).
I'm using a plan old P2B motherboard with a 500MHz PIII.
Pretty standard. No other disk in the system.
Thanks..
