Summary: pre_stage2.exec fails to link on OpenBSD 3.2: undefined reference to
`__enable_execute_stack'
Version: CVS as of 2003-03-22T02:15:32Z
Type: software bug
Message:
Here's what I did:
* installed OpenBSD 3.2 from the CD
* unpacked the ports tarball
* installed binutils, which did not go smoothly: `make install' tried to
install version 2.11 *and* 2.12 of binutils; the second installation failed.
Also, the first didn't install `objcopy'; I copied it by hand into
/usr/local/i386-unknown-openbsd3.2/bin/
* put /usr/local/i386-unknown-openbsd3.2/bin/ on my PATH
* did `./configure'
* did `gmake'; saw the link failure
