I configured grub-0.93 with --enable-diskless --enable-sis900 to boot a machine
via rpld and grub. pxegrub gets transferred fine and loads, the SiS900 driver
finds the on-board NIC and then complains about not being able to find the MAC:
Found SIS900 at 0xdc00, ROM address 0xfe80
Probing...[SIS900]sis900_probe: Error EERPOM(sic!) read 0000
sis900_probe: Error MAC address not found
sis900_probe: Error EERPOM read 0000
sis900_probe: Error MAC address not found
No ethernet card found.
The NIC in question is the on-board NIC of an Elitegroup S7K5A mainboard (PCB
version 3.1)
