Hi I've been experiencing a strange problem with grub.

My root linux partition is on /dev/hda5 and /home is on /dev/hda6.

I boot grub from a floppy and type:

find /vmlinuz

It replies
(hd0,4)
as I would expect. Now for the weird bit. I type
root (hd0,4)
It says:
Filesystem type is reiserfs, partition type 0x83
Now if i go:
kernel /vmlinuz root=/dev/hda5
it says:
error 15 file not found
If I use command completion I see the directories from /dev/hda6

Could this be a problem with my partition table or is it a bug with grub?

please help.

thanks,Iain.
