OK. Try what is proposed by Okuji.

But one thing puzzles me. IIRC, you wrote that the Read Error appeared
after "loading stage2". If this the case? If yes, the problem is that
the blocklist mentionned in the first sector of stage2 is wrong. If the
Read Error appeared just after GRUB, the problem is in stage1 (MBR or
first sector of the partition) and can be that the forced disk reference
is wrong.

In all cases, a reinstall will solve these problems (either for the
possible wrong disk reference, or a corrupted block list).
