JOS and GRUB

The JOS http://cjos.sourceforge.net/archive/index.html  project hosted
on Source Forge, has a kernel arrangement based on GRUB. Does anyone on
this list, other then myself, know anything about it? With me I am
working on a method to use that approach for one of my many projects. I
just want to get some feedback from the list.
