Is this defined on hard disks and partition tables to have more than one
extended partitions. Ok, extended partition are normal partitions, which
organize the logical drives as linked lists inside that partitions.

But how is this handled by the OS for the minors (hda5, 6, 7,...) ?
The first extended gets then 5,6,7....,k, the second gets k+1, k+2, ...,
n.
Is this done in this way.
