Dear,
I use ACARD's scsi card, and it is no problem when I boot from LILO.
(root=/dev/sda8, and kernel can automatically load scsi module, atp870u)
but from GRUB, somethings happened, I got the message as below,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
request_module[block-major-8]:Root fs not mounted
VFS: Cannot open root device "sda8" or 08:00
Please append a correct "root=" boot option
Kernel Panic : VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 08:00
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It seems not to load atp870u automatically?!
Could you give me some help
Winston
