Hello!

Sorry for copying to the GRUB list, but you obviously confused my personal
e-mail with the list.

Please be more precize. What version of OpenBSD? Do you mean booting the
kernel from GRUB or the ability to compile and install GRUB on OpenBSD?

Do you have any specific problems with OpenBSD and GRUB? With what
versions?

As far as I know, you should be able to compile and install GRUB on
OpenBSD but you will have to change the default /boot/grub directory to
something else, because /boot is a file on OpenBSD.

You should be able to boot OpenBSD using the OpenBSD bootloader. Loading
the kernel directly is only supported for old versions of OpenBSD (2.5 and
older, I believe), but I haven't been tracking the development of GRUB
closely enough to know for sure.

Probably yes, but make sure to write to the mailing list. I cannot apply
patches without discussing them on the list. Please don't forget that your
patch should not break everything else.
