grub & debian-installer

Hello!

I'm the the person who will do the lilo, grub thing in the
debian-installer. We will install grub from a chrooted environment in
the base-system from the rescue floppy. For this we need to debconfize
grub as fast as we can. This script will also have to create an initrd
for booting and loading modules. I aslo saw that the grub pacakge is now
broken in debian, it can't compile from source on a fresh sid system. So
I think you haven't got enough time to prog it and maintain it to in
debian. If you can't debconfize it I can make the work and I can send
you a patch for the debian pacakge, or if you think it will be better I
can maintain the package. In this way the modifications which will be
needed for d-i and for debian can be go to the archive faster.
