trying 0.5.96.1

Hi,

I am reporting two issues with grub 0.5.96.1, specifically related
to the grub shell,

    1. When run in batch mode, the echoing of long lines is
    incorrect, this is probably related to the next issue.

    2. When run in interactive mode, the command editing uses a
    truncate mode (like ksh), I find this difficult to work with,
    I like to see the complete command that I am entering.

For example the command line,

    install  /boot/grub/stage1 (hd0)  /boot/grub/stage2  p /boot/grub/menu.lst

is echoed to my xterm as,

    grub>                                                                       
    <ot/grub/me                                                                 
   nu.lst

I have not yet had a chance to play with the native mode, but I
will do so at my next reboot.
