Hi.

You may want a different tool:

        awk '/pattern1/ && /pattern2/' ...
        awk '/pattern1/ || /pattern2/' ...
        awk '/pattern1/ && !/pattern2/' ...

And so on.

Seems much easier than stuffing boolean logic into grep.
