to whom it may concern-

i am trying to install the GNU C Compiler onto a hp 9000 series D370 running 
hpux 11i.  so far i have used the hpux 11 steps and succeded, however i 
recently had an error of a missing config.h file. i do not know enough about 
the compiler to fix this on my own, and it is unclear form the list of 
mailing lists as to which is the correct list to subscribe to in order to 
get help. if this is the correct list, please respond to this e-mail so that 
i may subscribe and send you the log file of the problems with some comments 
i've written as i have dealt with it. that way you can advise me on how to 
fix the problem and finish the installation.

this will also allow you to add hpux 11i to the list of operating 
enviroments to which this has been installed and runs.

i hope that this turns out to be mutually beneficial.
