Hello,

My name is Lavinia Bobonete and I am a 4th year student at Politehnica
University of Bucharest (Major in Computer Science). I'm writing to
you because I'm highly interested in your proposal for this GSoC
season.

I have a wide experience in C and MySql Databases, I've made a couple
of projects in Python  and I'm also familiar with the basics of
SQLite, so there shouldn't be any programming barriers.

First of all, I would like to ask you how important is this project
for the organization. I'm not so familiar with it, but I saw that
there's a significant interest on it, especially on mailing-list. :)

I've already downloaded the application and I've taken a look on the
source code. I think there will be no problem for me to manage to
reimplement the program in C.

I'm looking forward to hearing from you and talk some ideas about the
project. Hope it's not too late.
