I've pushed the following two changes into both the official
repositories. This should be enough for you to compile your own
version of LinuxBIOS+GNUFI and test it on QEMU.
2006-12-20 Johan Rydberg <address@hidden>
* loader/i386/linuxbios/start.S: New file.
* loader/linuxbios/loader.c: Likewise.
* loader/linuxbios/debug.c: Likewise.
* loader/linuxbios/linuxbios.h: Likewise.
* configure.ac: Add i386-linuxbios loader.
* configure: Regenerate.
* config/i386-linuxbios.rmk: New file.
* config/i386-linuxbios.mk: Likewise.
* Makefile.in (RMKFILES): Add i386-linuxbios.rmk.

* ext/con-serial.c (struct simple_text_input): Declare.
(QUEUE_SIZE): Define.
(reset_output): New function name (old 'reset').
(reset_input): New function.
(input_loop): Likewise.
(read_key_stroke): Likewise.
(check_key_stroke): Likewise.
(start): Register simple text input protocol.
There is still a lot of work left before I feel that someone should
try this with in a real LinuxBIOS environment (if ever), but it is a
start. Contributions more than welcome, as always.
If you want some information on how to go about to try it out, I added
a page to the wiki:
