1. Start up GNU and click on the New button, and click the button to set
up a new position. You'll be placed in edit mode.
2. Click on the checker tray to clear the board, and then click on various
points to set up some checker position. As the final step, click on the
white checker icon beneath the board, to set White on roll. (I'm assuming
that Black is the near side and White is the far side.) Click on the Edit
button to exit edit mode.
3. Re-enter edit mode by clicking on the Edit button again. Now hold down
the Ctrl key and use the mouse to drag a few checkers on the board to new
locations. After doing so, click on the *black* checker icon beneath the
board, to set Black on roll. The checkers you just dragged around will
magically jump back to their original locations.
In step 3, instead of clicking on the black checker icon, clicking on the
cube to change the cube location will also work.
