Someone will have to correct me if I am wrong but I don't believe that info is actually saved to the SGF file, so when it gets reread it disappears.

That is unfortunate if true. I've been studying cube efficiency and at the moment it seems to me that the information contained in those statistics is extremely valuable for understanding certain kinds of positions. Introducing more support for those statistics would in my opinion be a very important feature. Some way of saving them to a separate file (if not the .sgf file), for example, would be a good first step.

Another thing I noticed is that if I set up a cube decision (say), click on "Hint" and roll it out, and then go and customize the rollout by clicking the "..." tab (for example, increasing the number of trials) and then I click "Rollout" again, the "View Statistics" button disappears. In other words, if I do a 1296-game rollout I can "View Statistics" but if I then try to extend to (say) 5184 games, I can't "View Statistics" of the extended rollout. It seems I have to set up all my rollout parameters correctly the first time around. (As I type this, it occurs to me that this might be related to another bug that was apparently fixed last year, so maybe if I reinstall the new version of GNUBG this won't happen any more.)
