Are you trying to analyze a move that you entered manually via the GnubgId or manually through the editor and wish to see an evaluation? If so, try  using the Analyze meu/Hint/Eval(or rollout) features. The Analyze move option is only available (as far as I know) when viewing moves within a money game/match.

Someone is bound to point it out if I don’;t. You can click the hint icon in the toolbar to do the same.
