Hi Matthias,
As others have said your requested feature is no longer part of
GnuBG. However, the feature that you are looking for is available in
BGBlitz by Frank Berger. His website is: http://www.bgblitz.com/ The
feature is called the "Egyptian Rule" in BGBlitz and can be set through
the "Game" menu. Set it like this: "Game --> Setup Game --> Egyptian
Rule". BGBlitz is comparable in strength to GnuBG. According to data at
Frank's website the two programs have played against each other four
times at the ICGA's Computer Olympiad and BGBlitz won three of those
contests. BGBlitz is not free like GnuBG, but it is very inexpensive.
The player version is only $23.00 and there is an unlimited demo
available.
