Actually with the install archive on www.gnubg.org, gnubg is self
contained: it has all the DLL it needs in its directory (like
c:\Program Files\gnubg), except the Windows ones (taken from
c:\windows\system32).

I checked with Dependency Walker (freeware that shows dll deps) and
everything seems to be ok ...

I finally found a Vmware WinXP system I had archived. Using Vmware 6 running Windows XP – SP2 from scratch with a virgin setup + your newest files – the cube acts properly when changing directions (in 2d and 3d) in edit mode (and out of it).
