Jon,I tried "set vsync3d on" and the program gave me the message "This function is for the MS Windows 3d board only." I am using MacOSX 10.3.9.
Of course.
I also tried "set appearance boardshadows=y" and "set appearance boardshadows=n", both had no effect, the problem persisted.
Does resizing the window help the 3d display? As Christian said narrowing down which check-in caused the problem will help a bit, I'm guessing it was my relatively recent 3d changes that will be the culprit though. Do old versions of gnu still work (i.e. are you sure it isn't a problem on your machine)?
