On FreeBSD 6.2, ./configure --without-python --without-sound fails with :
configure: error: conditional "USE_PYTHON" was never defined.
Usually this means the macro was only invoked conditionally.
Letting it discover by itself that there is no Python with ./configure
--without-sound gives :
checking for --with-python... no
checking for python... no
configure: error: Python Executable not found
