I have looked at the changes concerning Mac OS X and I would really like you to go and give the latest CVS a try because configure.in
is significantly changed from 0.15. The detections of both gtk and python are different. Another question, do you think your changes should work for people having x86 architectures running Mac OS X?
I'm all for simplifying the supported sound system so that only ms windows, esound and a fall-back to an external sound command are supported.
