[Bug-gnubg] Feature request: provable dice correctness |

Hello,
i wrote a feature request some weeks ago.
---snip---
Hello GNUBG,
i don't want to enter manual dice.
Is there an interface for an external dice module? I am looking for an external
dice module, too.
Alternatively, would it be possible to generate a file of the dice GNUBG
received from random.org?
Great program. Thanks,
WM
---snip---
I received a personal mail questioning why i was interested in such a feature.
Well, i am not the type of guy who trusts software. I am able to review the
GNUBG source code but it is a huge monster and lacks clarity. Furthermore I
don't compile the code myself.
The possibility to get a file of the random numbers GNUBG received from
random.org would help. I don't want to trust a piece of software where i can
have proof of the correctness.
This is no personal suspiciousness I just have a bad feeling about so-called
"randomness" in gambling software (especially backgammon and poker servers).
Thanks for any comments and maybe help,
WM
